What a great blog!

Hi!  I’m Emily.  I’m 21, from Seattle, and a senior at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.

I’ve always loved to sing and this summer I decided to do something about it.  I’m heading back to Portland over Labor Day weekend and I’ve promised myself that this year I will find my way back into music.  I’m armed with some nice chops and a guitar I don’t know how to play.  We’ll see where they take me.

I’ll use this blog to keep you updated and to establish some degree of accountability.  I have trouble staying focused sometimes, so hopefully my commitment to posting at least twice a week will keep me on track.

Please feel free to leave comments or messages.  I’d love to hear from everyone–those who know me and those who don’t.  I’d like to establish connections in the Portland and Seattle areas as well as read comments from my mom and dad.
